Magnificent across the board with its beautiful space, sharp dressed perfectly attentive staff, and delicious food. My favorite type of meal is a set menu because it’s a great way to experience a whole meal planned out. So of course it was my choice. All the food was perfection, grilled octopus, big eye tuna tartare, whole fish, roasted lamb and orange cake. The Greek wine was wonderful and the Venus cocktail perfectly balanced. Beginning to end it was superb.

Casual upscale with Mediterranean cuisine. It's full of beautiful people....I mean looks are everywhere in this place from the hostesses to the servers to the customers. You'll know you are innBeverly hills. Food was on point but Ill suggest dont get the chocolate cake for desert, its a ginormous slice!

The service is perfect, the wine selection is great, the food is amazing, and the price is fair. It’s not cheap, but fair for the area. We had the sea bass skewers, the filet (cooked perfect), the veggies, but the real winner is the truffle fries, best fries I’ve had. Definitely go for date night or a special event.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating at Avra Beverly Hills. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive and warm. The whole atmosphere felt festive and elegant — exactly what you expect from a place like this. There was one unpleasant moment at the beginning: despite booking in advance and specifying where we’d like to sit, we were first offered a table in the far corner of the dining room because we had our daughter with us. After I refused, we were seated near the waiters’ station, which also wasn’t ideal. Only on the third attempt did we finally get a proper table. It was clear the issue was related to the child, but she is not a 6-month-old baby who could disturb the vibe. That said, the food and the level of service made me forget about this incident and fully enjoy the evening. In the end, we left with warm impressions and gratitude for a special night.

OMG I absolutely love this place and would buy this on my list of places to dine when I’m in Beverly Hills. The seafood is so fresh, the service was great, and the entire restaurant had a great vibe!

Avra is always an amazing dining experience. The food is incredibly fresh and full of flavor. especially the seafood, which is consistently top-quality. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and the service is attentive without being overbearing. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is beautifully prepared and delicious. If you’re looking for great food and a refined dining vibe, Avra never disappoints!

That was quite an experience. The complimentary hummus and bread were actually really tasty, especially the little red radishes 🫜- it has a natural sweetness just perfect with the hummus. The fish was amazing- it is light but with lemon 🍋 it was just an amazingly tasty and healthy dinner for me. I think their recommendation of 1 pound was just perfect - mine was slightly bigger hence a bit too much but I finished it just because it was really good. I ordered the traditional tea from the Mediterranean area - you should wait a bit to let the flavor come out before you drink, a uniquely spicy flavor kind of refreshing. Service was pretty great as well.

Lunch was such a vibe! Hummus is included with the table. We had Greek salads for our starters, Octopus and Fried Dorado for the main and orange and strawberry cheesecake for dessert. We enjoyed it all. Beautiful atmosphere. Very fresh seafood. Definitely worth your time if in Beverly Hills.

The hostess was warm and welcoming and thoughtfully accommodated our request for outdoor seating. Although it was raining, the covered patio was comfortable and well set up, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Everything we ordered was excellent. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The coffee, in particular, stood out—rich and well made, which is always appreciated. Our server, Alex, was exceptional. I was especially impressed by her deep knowledge of the different fish offerings. Being able to personally select your own fish and have it prepared to order is a wonderful touch—it immediately brought back memories of doing the same in Italy. The octopus and fish we chose were both outstanding, perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also really loved the pasta-and-fish combination, which was both comforting and elevated. We will absolutely be returning to try another fish dish.

I was invited to a birthday dinner at Avra last week and left genuinely impressed. After living in Los Angeles for years and dining at many well-known restaurants, it’s rare for a place to truly surprise me, but Avra did exactly that. The appetizers were outstanding. The calamari was perfectly prepared- light, crisp, and delicate without being overly heavy or salty. Our table of eight enjoyed it so much that we ended up ordering multiple plates. The Avra chips, a mix of zucchini and eggplant chips, were another highlight. Even for someone who isn’t usually a fan of eggplant, the combination was excellent and very well executed. The octopus was also exceptional, with a perfect texture and flavor that stood out among many versions I’ve tried elsewhere. By the time the entrees arrived we were already fairly full from the appetizers, but my Dover sole was beautifully prepared and showcased the delicate flavors the dish is known for. The overall atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the experience made a strong impression. I’ll definitely be returning soon—next time with my family.
